Project Coordinator – Solar PV, Battery, and EV Charger Installations

  • Location: Home-based with easy access to Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and surrounding areas
  • Salary: £27,000 – £32,000, depending on experience
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're looking for an organized, motivated Project Coordinator to join our team in managing residential-scale Solar PV, Battery, and EV charger installations across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth organisation and delivery of residential renewable energy projects. Your tasks will include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customers and installers throughout each project phase
  • Handling document management, project tracking, and ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Budget management, ensuring cost-effective project delivery
  • Maintaining installation records to regulatory standards
  • Supporting installers with technical guidance and ensuring high standards of installation and documentation

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a customer service role with strong communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly
  • Strong organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • A genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience of PV or other renewable technology within the industry or through education
  • Project management experience within the construction or renewables industry
  • Familiarity with accounting and budget management
