Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled NI Fitter to join the team in Bathgate, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for lift/escalator installations, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Measure and set out lift/escalator installations
• Install lift/escalator equipment and ancillary components
• Adjust lift ropes and install safety components
• Install lift doors, frames, and associated safety devices
• Check and set lift/escalator installations before final testing
• Conduct site surveys and maintain communication with supervisors and customers

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift/Escalator Installation or equivalent
• Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
• Advanced product and installation knowledge/experience
• Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
• Good communication and punctuality
• Manual dexterity and full UK driving license
