Role Description
This is a short term contract role for a Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Engineer covering the Peterborough region. Although this is a short term position, it could lead to additional contract positions with the area. As an LEV Engineer, you will be responsible for testing LEV systems, providing detailed reports and performing basic maintenance and repairs where required. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- P601 is essential
- Experience in maintenance and repair of LEV systems is essential. Knowledge of Fire damper / fume cupboard / oil mist extraction could be advantageous although not essential.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
Relevant certifications and experience in the field would be beneficial.
