A highly respected client of mine is expanding our international market presence and we need you to help us thrive. Since 1972, we’ve built a legacy of trust and reliability, now we are looking for a HR Advisor to join our dynamic UK Human Resources team and be part of our growth journey!

Your Role: As an HR Advisor, you will:

  • HR Policies: Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, providing guidance on the employee handbook.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the hiring process, from interviewing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • HR Strategic Projects: Manage key HR projects such as Employee Value Proposition, Employer Branding, and Early Careers programmes.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Support payroll validation, administer pay reviews, and manage benefits.
  • Employee Relations: Ensure legal compliance, handle grievance and disciplinary procedures, and manage performance and absence cases.
  • Engagement: Drive employee engagement through town halls, events, surveys, and action plans.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training needs analysis and facilitate training on core HR processes.
  • HR Administration: Oversee onboarding, orientations, record-keeping, and data entry in line with GDPR.
  • HR Reporting: Monitor key HR metrics and analytics to enhance business performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Previous HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle complex and sensitive cases.
  • Experience with HR systems and project management tools, including MS Excel, PPT, and Word.
  • Availability to start immediately or with a short notice period is a plus.
