We are looking for an experienced and passionate Escalator Repair Engineer to join our Scotland & North division, based in Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our clients' escalators throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain customer escalators
  • Repair or replace escalator parts as needed
  • Respond to mechanical failures and breakdowns
  • Conduct safety checks and risk assessments
  • Plan and manage workload around assigned jobs
  • Maintain van stock and order supplies through our supply chain
  • Recommend parts and equipment for quoting or ordering to ensure escalator compliance
  • Participate in out-of-hours work on a pro rata basis

Who We Are Looking For

  • NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Full UK Driving License with the ability to travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and collaborate effectively with others
  • Positive attitude and openness to change
  • Highly organized
  • Superior customer-care skills
  • Ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
  • Strong advocate for Health & Safety regulations in the workplace
