This role involves working closely with our high-performing sales team, which has established a market-leading position in the volume residential and commercial sectors within the London & South construction markets. Your primary responsibility will be to further solidify the clients reputation as a global technology leader by fostering profitable growth with our latest elevator and digital solutions among strategically important developers and builders.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhancing Market Position: Work to further enhance the clients market position through profitable growth using our latest elevator and digital solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement customer value solution-based sales strategies, focusing on achieving order targets in terms of value, profitability, and value-added services for the London & South region.
- Market Analysis: Interpret external construction markets and competitor intelligence to formulate a clear and detailed sales strategy.
- Leadership: Lead by example, working closely with the sales team to develop key customer relationships and maximize profitable growth through repeat business.
- Customer Engagement: Maintain and build rapport with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineering Background: Preferably with knowledge of lifts or similar technologies.
- Customer Facing: Comfortable engaging with customers and presenting technical and non-technical content effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other relevant programs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, networking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility: Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Activities
- Deliver 120 Digital APIs annually into the clients portfolio.
- Understand and communicate the distinctions and benefits of the clients proprietary DX solutions.
- Present effectively to a diverse range of clients, tailoring content to various technical backgrounds.
- Interpret and collaborate on clients' smart building specifications with internal teams.
- Maintain relationships with software/ecosystem partners and onboard new ones.
- Collaborate with Technical and Innovation teams to resolve on-site API challenges.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and smart building infrastructure.
Traffic Study
- Work with sales representatives, architects, clients, or consultants to determine the optimal lift configuration for maximizing people flow using the clients BTS tool.
- Understand and navigate the constraints of the offerings, considering factors like contract speed, lift load, and building standards.
- Conduct simulations and compile professional reports to present findings.
Energy Calculation
- Ensure compatibility of the offerings with clients' Green Building requirements.
- Advise sales teams on necessary changes.
- Produce and edit professional energy calculation reports.
BREEAM Report
- Generate BREEAM reports using the tools to ensure offerings meet BREEAM credit requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Essential: Engineering background and customer-facing experience.
- Preferred: Experience with lifts or similar knowledge.
- Key Skills: Building rapport, networking, adaptability, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
- IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills.
